Me2
Me2 is a support group run by Nicki Fone,Child and Young Person Outreach Worker, and the Child Support Workers.
Every year we run eight groups for children from five to thirteen. The children are grouped by age, normally there are six to eight in each group, and a mix of girls and boys.
The programme runs for ten sessions, focusing on feelings, anger management, self esteem and families. The last session is a celebration evening of what the children have acheieved that parents are invited to come and attend.
The children who attend the Me2 group have to be from the Stockport area and be out an abusive situation. We also ask that the whole family be informed and can support the child. We also gather information from the school the child attends - this is so we can provide the best support needs.
