Referrals

Women can refer themselves, or go through the above helplines, who can search for bedspace across the Greater Manchester region or nationally.

While we seek to help anyone who gets in touch with us, we don’t always have space to accomodate women and children seeking somewhere to go. Sometimes we can’t take women with high levels of needs if the community already in the refuge would suffer. If we aren’t able to take a woman into the refuge, we will try to help her find another place to go, but we will always be open with her, and explain why that is.
